Internet of Things (IoT) provides that a lot of devices will have the ability to communicate with the internet and/or with other devices. IoT is the technology megatrend of our time and will bring new and intelligent processes that will create value for companies and for the society.
The market for IoT solutions is growing rapidly. The demand is developing in different directions. At DeltaM2M, we are focusing on Industrial IoT (IIoT), which is used by companies and organizations. This market, also known as Industry 4.0, will not only demand sensors and gateways, but for complete solutions. Integrated solutions mean that data, that is being collected from sensors will be processed and shown exactly how and where the customer wants it – no matter if this is in a SCADA-system, on a tablet, a smartphone or on a computer.
DeltaM2M is delivering complete solutions for Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT).
We are able to interface with a long range of sensors, PLC’s or other equipment, that can provide status report information. Our systems can interface to various protocols (f.ex. Modbus, Profi-net, IO-Link, serial, analog or digital IO-signals). Our gateways provide secure and reliable delivery of data to a cloudbased solution from where we can bring data to where the customer wants it.
How data is transported will depend on the task and the possibilities available on the actual location. We can use existing IT-infrastructure or communicate via separate connections using 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, Net1 (450 MHz) or the new technologies NB-IoT (Narrow-Band IoT) and LTE Cat. M1. We can even help with solutions for Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Wireless M-bus, LoRa and Sigfox.
